The group will start the visit from the bottom of Rocinha and will then make their way up to towards the top of the favela by bus or mototaxi (as you prefer).
There, in Vila Laboriaux, we will have conversations with local residents and see the Caixinha Square, a square that was developed in 4 weeks by the local community with the help of more than 150 volunteers
After the visit and discussion about Ciaxinha Square, we will cross the community towards the top of the hill and make our way to the entrance of Tijuca forest.
Following talks regarding community environmental tourism, we will descend back through Rocinha - passing by a variety of arts and culture focused social projects.
The tour will wrap up at the Rocinha Surf Club - a local surf school - where we will have a conversation with Bocão, the founder.
