After exiting the metro-station we walk 5 minutes toward the Graffiti Museum, which is the home  of AREA Project, where we will learn about the space and their plans to create new interactive experiences within the space. Visitors will then select a wall to paint and a graffiti artist will take the inspiration and ideas of the visitors to create a new piece of graffiti art on the selected wall. While the graffiti artists finish the wall, we will set up a meeting with two local residents from the area, who will share their stories and reflections about cultural projects and graffiti. After the talks we will continue up the favela up to Ferinha da Pavuna. Along the way, your guide will share stories and perspective of the graffiti and art seen along the way.  Once we arrive in Feirinha da Pavuna, we'll enjoy the story of the market and then head to a restaurant to eat a tipical food from the local area, while learningabout the story of famous singer Jovelina Perola Negra.
